Top Questions Avengers Endgame left us with : SPOILERS AHEAD

After a year, we finally have a follow up to the cliffhanger the Russo brothers left us with Infinity War. Breaking the box office record with $157 million in revenues on opening night and a whopping $1.2 billion after opening weekend, and all that considered, it has raised even more questions. The story of the earth’s mightiest hero’s pulling off a time heist in order to face off against a now mortal mad Titan who seeks universal extinction in order to create a new life that appreciates what they have been given rather than what’s been taken away.

Is Sam Wilson Becoming Captain America?

While some saw this coming, most were completely taken by surprise. After returning the Infinite Stones to their destined place in time, Captain America was transformed to his true age, and in the present, is no longer able to uphold the role of Captain America. Those who did see this coming might have predicted The Winter Soldier, AKA Bucky Barnes to assume the role. This leaves a major question, will future Captain America movies be being made with Sam Wilson as Captain America? Chris Evans contract expired at this movie, and he’s been documented saying that he wouldn’t be play that role anymore afterwards. Many if not all were predicting Captain to be the one to die in Endgame, yet against all odds he survived Thanos not once, but twice. We also saw a majorly awesome moment (in which every nerd in the world jumped out of their seat) in which Captain America summoned Thor’s hammer. Which brings another question. Was Steve Rogers worthy because he was Steven Rogers or because of all the things he’s done as Captain America? And would this allow Sam to use the same hammer sometime in the future?

Is Thor joining the Guardians of the Galaxy?

After the dust settled (pun intended), Thor made it clear to Valkyrie that he needed to leave Asgard for a while, and he put her in charge. He then announced he had no idea what he needed to do, but he made it clear that he was getting there via the Guardians of the Galaxy. Is he joining them, or just hitchhiking until he decides where he is needed? Considering what they do he would likely be most useful with them. But I guess that will be decided after his battle with Quill for who will be Captain of the Guardians ship.

Did Iron Man’s snap kill Gamora?

After getting tipped off by Doctor Strange, Tony Stark took the stones from Thanos and snapped his fingers to eliminate Thanos and his entire army. But there is a tiny detail people have overlooked, did he snap to kill the entire army except Gamora, or just his entire army. At the end of the film, we see Quill looking at the searching status of Gamora’s profile. Assuming she did survive, how would she get off the planet. The one they are searching for is the Gamora far before she ever joined the Guardians, so knowing her father is dead, the only person she would contact is her sister, Nebula. Or perhaps she is stranded on earth somewhere yet to be found. This all is likely to be explained in Guardians of the Galaxy III.

Is Black Widow Really Gone?

On their trip to Vormir, Black Widow and Hawkeye were informed by Red Skull of what is required to acquire the soul stone, and Black Widow gave her life for it. She ended up suffering the same fate Gamora did, and the Avengers seem to think that the action can be undone. However, if Gamora turns out to be alive later down the timeline, the action can be undone by bringing her back from the past. With all of this it becomes confusingly unclear as to who is truly dead and who isn’t. But it seems as if Gamora could come back from a death of the soul stone, so can Romanov.

What was Thano’s sword made out of?

After Thanos hit the Avengers headquarter building with some kind of major blast, many characters are trapped downstairs under debris while Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man take on Thano’s head to head. This is even more exciting than the first one because they now have both Stormbreaker and Mjolnir and Thano’s now does not have the glove. But what is surprising is that he is still a very hard to kill character, who has some kind of new sword he never had in Infinity War. Now, as described in the beginning of the movie Black Panther, Vibranium is suppose to be the strongest substance in the MCU, which is what Cap’s shield is made out of. This said, what was Thano’s sword made out of that four swings was able to cut the shield in half?\

What happens now?

While this definetily wasn’t the same cliffhanger as Infinity War, we certainly have questions about what occurs next. After 11 years of the MCU, Avengers Endgame became the first Marvel movie not to have any end credit scenes. We do know Spider-Man: Far From Home is suppose to be the next movie in the lineup, but what the means for the characters that have changed or deceased we unfortunately do not know, and it will remain this way until the end of the MCU, if that ever comes.
